Matt Lehman, MA, LMFT Matt Lehman has worked as a mental health practitioner for over 12 years. Matt began his career working with adolescents with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health needs in an inpatient treatment facility. Matt graduated with his B.A. in Psychology from California State University Fullerton in 2006. After graduating Matt continued working with a variety of populations including homeless and at-risk families with children struggling mental health disorders. In 2013, while working at the Orange County Health Care Agency’s clinic for the severely and persistently mentally ill, Matt graduated with his Masters in Counseling Psychology from National University. Matt has worked closely the Orange and Los Angeles court systems in collaboration with law enforcement, probation and state parole departments. In this capacity Matt provided support and correspondence on behalf of clients facing alcohol and drug related charges. As a certified facilitator for Orange County Probation, Matt has taught the Batterers’ Intervention and Child Abuse Treatment programs and has provided Anger Management and Parenting Education courses. Matt currently provides individual, family, group and couples therapy. Matt has worked with populations throughout the lifespan including children, teens, adults and clients facing end-of-life related issues. Matt is currently accepting new clients and accepts most insurance plans. |
